Make sure you need to have these components:

  • Sound sampler,
  • 6 geared motors,
  • 2 speakers,
  • Picaxe 28,
  • 4 AA batteries,
  • SRF05, and
  • Microphone.

As you can see, the speaker and microphone was placing underneath the robot. The speaker works as beep and make click-sounds to the beat, while the microphone function as input and sound measurer cum recorder.

Servo is not included in this robot drummer.

You can place another speaker at the top of robot.

This robot runs efficiently by four AA batteries, is better if you can use the re-chargeable AA batteries for energy saving.

The L293D Motor driver that placed at the center is to control the movement of the head to both sides.
