Challenge Yourself By Building a AM Voive Transmitter Radio

You want to show off your talent to your friends about your divine knowledge in the transmitter radio niche?
Then, you must check this out. It’s a simple DIY transmitter radio, and those materials needed:
- A 1MHz crystal oscillator
- An audio transformer
- A Radio Shack’s circuit board
- A phone plug
- A 9V battery clip and battery
- A set of alligator jumpers
- Some wire for antenna used
Ok, we are starting with the oscillator, the heart of the transmitter. We only used three instead of four leads. The oscillator is built into a metal can, which it can indicates the unused lead.
Audio transformer is another main part here, and it is functioned as a modulator. The modulator is responsible to change the strength of the radio waves, which used to match the loudness of the music or voice.
If you look on the above figure, you can see the transformer has two leads on right side (red and white wires) and three leads on the right side (blue, black and green wires). The two leads are the low impedance (the 8 ohm side), while the three leads are high impedance (1000 ohm side) of the transformer. [Original]
