Did you always worry about your children safety, when they try to sniff off and play at the roadside?

Why don’t you make yourself a DIY Electronic Gate and sweep this irritating manner away?

Those components you need:

  • Main gate

  • 12V window motor

  • Transmitter

  • Electronic lock

  • PICAXE microcontroller

Firstly, you have to set up the 12V window motor at the right angle, and put a clutch in line to enable the gate to open in two ways.

Place the transmitter at the opposite of 12V motor. This transmitter functions as detector, which it can detect those moving objects up to 50m.

After that, works on the electronic lock and make sure to set up the gate properly.

Then, draw out the schematic diagram and PCB layout for power and relay.

You need to assemble all of the parts and wires at the right place, and setting up the PICAXE microcontroller according to the program.

Now, you shall have a brand new and safe DIY electronic gate.
