Sometimes, it is a really fussy and frustrated task, when you cannot find the components you’re needed to build the power supply module.

Ok, if you’re giving a choice to have a ready-to-use plug-in breadboard power supply, would you mind to try it up or even apply it at your electronic projects?

With the straight power supply plug in to the common breadboards, its also enable you to easily power your board with a wall wart plug or with the wires into the screw terminals. In addition to the above feature, a variable voltage regulator has included in this module and this for enable you to set the output 3.3 or 5V with a jumper (this will be much better, if you added a potentiometer on it).

The input has a rectifier that accepts AC or DC, but you have to ensure that the input is about 2V greater than the output you want here.

Some of the good features for this plug-in breadboard power supply are:

  • A variable voltage regulator (The LM317T tye)
  • Good Rectifier
  • Three capacitors: 0.1uF ceramic, 1uF electrolytic, and 330uF electrolytic
  • Two position screw terminal
  • Barrel jack power connector (2.1mm x 5.5mm)
  • A Red color LED
  • SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) slide switch (It’s mean you can connects one input pin to one of two output pins)
  • Fine test point
  • Eight header pins
  • Eight resistors
