The Creative AA Battery Powered Cell Phone – Your Cell Phone will Have Longer Life Time!
Have you ever faced this embarrassment before - you’re talking happily with your family or friends through the cell phone, but the cell phone’s battery just being died suddenly?
Yeah, you’re pissed off and feel want to thrash the cell phone into pieces. Well, there is a better solution for your matter, instead of losing your temper and complaints about it.
Those components you’ll need for this project are:
- Solder
- Soldering iron
- Electrical tape
- AA battery holder
- Two AA batteries (Any brands)
- Hot glue gun
- Jumper cables
- Wire cutter
- Needle nosed pliars
Let’s DIY an AA battery powered cell phone, which has can be used to prolong the cell phone receiving and standby time spans.
First thing first, you have to use the needle nosed pliers to hold the wires, strip a small amount of the jacket off the wire, and solder the wire onto each of the contacts on the battery case. This is an easy step and won’t cost too much of time.
After that, you have to find the polarity of the battery and test your phone. Try to find which terminals on the phone are positive and negative. In addition, you need to use the jumper cables to hook up the phone to the batteries and test it again to ensure its works.
Then, solder the wires from the AA holder onto the contacts, cut a small hole in the battery cover (for the wire to come out of the case) and hot glue the battery holder to back to the holder again.
Voila, you’re done with the project and enjoy it!
